While there are no moogles in Last Fantasy 4, the Hummingways appear to be their equivalent. They live on the Blood-red Moon, isolated from humans, and in the 3D versions resemble the moogles of Ivalice, merely lack the iconic pompom. This carries into their appearances in Final Fantasy IV: The After Years, where they operate shops via holograms of themselves, like to the moogles of the Kingdom Hearts serial.

(土竜, mogura ?) and bat (蝙蝠, kōmori ?). "Moogle" is the localized version of Mōguri, losing the pun, though "moogle" has started to appear in Japanese sources as well.
